About this program

As a result of a changing business landscape, digital transformation is no longer simply a way of securing a competitive advantage but the key to remaining relevant. It’s a critical strategic initiative that involves implementing new technologies, talent, and processes to improve business operations and deliver real value for consumers.

The Rotman Digital Transformation online program from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto provides comprehensive insights into the core principles of digital transformation. Over six weeks, the program explores the need for an integrated competitive platform with an in-depth focus on stakeholder value and experience and how these factors can benefit organizations engaging in digital change.

You’ll examine how the appropriate strategic approach can create agile teams and outcomes, and be inspired by case studies from successful organizations that have utilized big data and data analysis to achieve their business objectives. Finally, you’ll create a digital transformation plan, examining important considerations such as scope and cost. In the process, you’ll learn how to prioritize various projects to best support a digital transformation approach suited to your organizational context.
